September 22nd is going to mark the end of the Summer of Dungeons, when Dungeons will finally exit its beta phase and transform into its final version. The end of the Summer of Dungeons is also going to mark the end of the lifetime Premium Membership purchases, so if you haven't gotten one yet, now is the time! Dungeons v2.0 Dungeons v2.0 is going to bring a lot of additions & changes to the board. Below you will find the most important for now, but please note that this list can be expanded at any time before the actual release date. (September 22nd) Trophies Dungeons v2.0 is going to introduce a new matchmaking system. Instead of matching you with players of a similar level, you will be matched with players of a similar Trophy count. Trophies can be gained by successfully attacking or defending against other players. You can get 1-60 Trophies per attack or defense, and your opponent will lose an equal amount (exceptions apply, read below). The amount of Trophies you have will place you into a League, which grants you special bonuses to your dungeon. Read on for more information. Leagues, Changes to Attack Cost & Daily Gold Bonus The new version of Dungeons will introduce a League system. Based on how many Trophies you have at any given point in time, you will be placed into a League. While it is possible to advance to a higher League, you can also fall into a lower League by losing too many defenses or attacks, so keep those Trophies coming! New Feature: Depending on your League, you will unlock certain items in the shop. Beginner League players will only have access to a limited number of building materials & minions to put into their dungeon, and as they progress, they will get access to a bigger array of materials, including redstone mechanics & other features. The exact specifications of when you will unlock each item are not final yet. There will no longer be a Daily Gold Bonus, but it will be replaced with a Daily 3-Win Bonus. The effect of the bonus is still the same, except now you'll need to play (and win) in order to get it. The three wins do not have to be consecutive. Attacks will no longer cost you gold, but you will be restricted to an 8-player list of possible targets that does not change automatically. You can, however, get a fresh list of players (if enough are available) for spending an amount equal to half of your League's Daily 3-Win Bonus. The list of Leagues is as follows (may be changed before release): 0-500 Trophies: Beginner League. Feature: Players can't lose Trophies when in this League. (3-Win Bonus: 200 Gold) 500-799 Trophies: Zombie League. Feature: Unlocks chainmail battle gear, leather minion gear & pig zombies. (3-Win Bonus: 300 Gold) 800-1099 Trophies: Skeleton League. Feature: Unlocks iron battle gear & food, chainmail minion gear & husks. (3-Win Bonus: 400 Gold) 1100-1399 Trophies: Spider League. Feature: Unlocks bow & arrows battle gear & strays.(3-Win Bonus: 500 Gold) 1400-1699 Trophies: Creeper League. Feature: Unlocks diamond battle gear, iron minion gear, cave spiders and witches.(3-Win Bonus: 600 Gold) 1700-1999 Trophies: Slime League. Feature: Unlocks protection I diamond & swimming boots battle gear & redstone materials (3-Win Bonus: 800 Gold) 2000-2299 Trophies: Blaze League. Feature: Unlocks protection II diamond battle gear, diamond minion gear, blazes, shulkers and guardians. (3-Win Bonus: 1000 Gold) 2300-2599 Trophies: Ghast League. Feature: Unlocks protection III diamond battle gear, enchanting materials, wither skeletons, vindicators and evokers. (3-Win Bonus: 1200 Gold) 2600-2999 Trophies: Witch League. Feature: Unlocks potions battle gear & potion effects for minions. (3-Win Bonus: 1400 Gold) 3000+ Trophies: Legendary League. Feature: Unlocks protection IV diamond battle gear & Bosses. (3-win Bonus: 2000 Gold) Players above 3,000 Trophies will be reset to 3,000 at the end of every month and be awarded bonus gold equal to 4x that of their excess trophies. So for example if you have 3,400 Trophies at the end of a month, you will be reset back to 3,000 and receive 1,200 bonus gold. The top 10 Dungeons Players will also receive a 1 month Premium Membership, just as it is with the Honor Leaderboards, starting in the season of October. However, also starting in the season of October, the 1st player will only receive ULTIMATE+, if they are 1st on both leaderboards, otherwise they will receive MASTER. There will be a separate Dungeons Leaderboard added to the website, to track the top players' Trophy count. (and to show off) You will always get players to attack, even if they are from a lower League. It is possible for a Legendary League player to be matched with a Beginner League player if no better options are available. However, in such extreme cases the potential Trophy gain will be 0, same with the loot, and the potential Trophy loss will be 60. Bosses These will be a new addition to the shop and will only be available to players in Legendary League. They are very expensive but powerful minions you can put in your dungeon, usually having high protection equipment, increased health and a range of custom abilities. They are the most expensive items in the shop, with the cheapest boss starting at 40,000 Gold. Here is a list of confirmed bosses that will be added on September 22nd: (may be expanded or changed) Wither Wizard (Wither Skeleton / 40,000 Gold): Comes with full diamond equipment and increased health. Periodically teleports to the player's location and summons regular skeletons at its location. Blazestorm (Blaze / 80,000 Gold): Comes with increased health. Periodically spawns other blazes at the player's location. Boneterror (Skeleton / 100,000 Gold): Comes with full diamond equipment and increased health. Periodically spawns a low health skeleton with an iron sword at every nearby monster's location and is immune to arrows. Inflicts permanent slowness upon the player, that persists even after the boss has died. Inactivity & Loot Changes Starting September 22nd, players who do not have logged in within 2 months will be removed from the dungeon attack list. This is to keep the list of targets fresh and reduce the amount of low-loot dungeons, since players will no longer get automatic gold. However, a successful attack on a dungeon will always award you at least a third of your Daily 3-Win Bonus, no matter how much loot that dungeon actually has available. The general loot you can get from a dungeon will remain at 25% of the player's total gold. Shield time will be increased to 8 hours (as opposed to 4). You can still purchase longer lasting shields from the credit store. ___________________________ As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated! Other Changes: Players in their workspace will have the option to /clear their dungeon, putting all blocks & minions into their storage chests. If a minion in an attack dies while holding a spawn egg, it will now spawn the minion from that egg. This way, you can cause a mob to spawn up to two other mobs upon death. Players in /attack will now take damage from the void. Items in /attack will no longer despawn. They will still despawn in /publish When leaving a dungeon through /forfeit, dying or winning, all potion effects (including fire) will be removed from the attacker.
